JOBS FOR 17 YEAR OLDS OR COLLEGE?

If you are seventeen years old, you have a big decision to make. If you think you want to go to college you had better apply soon or it will be too late. You might be considering either going to college after high school or getting a job instead and you need to make that decision soon.

You might be looking f or jobs for 17 year olds because you want a part time job during the school year or a full time job in the summer. No matter which, at age 17 you need to start making some decisions.

When you reach that age, employers start to expect a little more of you. You might have some work experience and you should start thinking of constructing a resume (see resumes for 17 year olds). If you are serious about getting a better job than just flipping burgers, that resume is needed for sure.

Teens that are seventeen years old are typically in the 11th or 12th grade and that is where you have to start mapping out your future. Most kids decide to go to college and that means applying to different colleges and universities that you might be interested in. This is something that needs to be done promptly as there is no room for delays. If you don’t get your college application in on time, it will be too late to do anything about it. And with the economy being so bad, it might be difficult to get any type of decent job.

Not all young adults want to go to college and that is OK. That means though, that you will have so be searching for jobs for 17 year olds and high school graduates. You probably won’t have a big selection because at your age you won’t have much experience and there jobs are scarce right now too. It is not a good time to be graduating high school right now and looking for a job.

Many high school students that might not ordinarily gone to college are changing their minds now. This is because jobs are so hard to find and college is the only alternative. Of course, college is not a bad choice for any young adult and if you are smart you will use your college experience to learn and get ahead.
